My background with fitness goes back my entire life growing up playing sports & always being active, however, I became involved with fitness kickboxing and group fitness classes specifically due to a work-related injury that ended my dream career in 2008.
During that time, I gained weight, got into a funk, lost my active drive and felt a little lost. I am sure some of you can relate. Well, in 2009 my son’s martial arts instructor talked me into taking her kickboxing boot camp – she assured me that even with my injury we would take it slow.
Fast forward, I went from being a student, to assist teaching, to teaching my own classes then to owning my own fitness center. When I saw & felt firs-hand the power of exercise more specifically the power of working in a group setting, I knew I had to share this calling! I am extremely passionate about helping others look & feel healthier, building self-confidence and living a balanced life. Fitness can truly change your life. You do not have to train to be a body building, or to compete, you can train to be the best you that you can be! That’s where I come in. I am here to motivate & inspire you!
